ABOUT ME

Putting My Experience
to Work

Fabian Nelson, a member of the Democratic Party, serving in the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 66. He assumed office on January 2, 2024, following his victory in the general election on November 7, 2023. During his inaugural session, Fabian demonstrated prolific legislative activity by authoring and co-authoring over 50 bills. One of his significant achievements was facilitating the largest capital investment in Mississippi's history – a ten billion-dollar Amazon data center.

He has also been a steadfast advocate for victims of domestic violence and spearheaded harm reduction initiatives, exemplified by his authored HB 1137, which expanded the availability of Narcan to combat the fentanyl crisis. This legislation received unanimous support in both chambers and was signed into law by the Governor on May 8, 2024.
